dia frampton

it took me six tries to find an available blog address for this blog, but here it is, possibly for no apparent reason and just as possibly just cuz, but i just wanted to have a place to shout out about something or someone who inspires me... today, i thank dia (of meg and dia fabk twit mysp tube wiki) and hope the words express the thank you i mean to offer... i mean these words here but also these words left for her on her blog:

the first time i saw you from a few feet away in the myspace tent on warp tour your smile told me there was magic in you... the first time i read your writing i smiled to recognize a kindred spirit with similar synaptic firing (and mis-firings lol :)

and once again i send you some peaceful energy and hope that you continue on your path to finding the peaceful balance inside (something like you describe Blake having) so your magic can shine through without the worries and distractions all around...

babble on, D, and stay true to you :)

the babbler fell in love with her at first reading... i love the way her brain free-flows through her thoughts (or is that her thoughts free flow through her brain?... not that it matters)... an example of the synchronicity of synapses is this answer to a question from one of her fans...

Katie: What is your favorite movie?
Dia: The Princess Bride. Hook. Big Fish. The Gladiator! Labyrinth. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Amelie. Wait until dark. The Sting.

if you know me then you know The Princess Bride and Hook, the first two that came to mind, are usually my first two too... Butch Cassidy has been a favorite longer than the others cuz it's been around longer, as has The Sting... and the rest connect too... and other synaptic connections can be found clearly and intuitively throughout her writings which are babbles...

for now, i leave this entry... i am not sure whether i will come back here or write a new one the next time dia inspires me to want to document the inspiration she inspires... we shall see when it happens, aye?... in any case, here is now a new space for people who inspire me :)
